Dial-up is the best option for them and a lot cheaper.

I have been with Mweb for 2 weeks : "You have used 18.71 GB so far this month."
I am on a 384kbps line. Okay, so I downloaded a lot of ISOs from MSDN, but still, 1GB is ridiculous.

If you move your ADSL line, you will be bound by Cybersmart's Draconian Terms and Conditions.

There T&C state that you are not allowed to use another ISP on your ADSL line - you have to cancel it. Also you are forced to use their *@cybersmart.co.za email address for billing, invoicing, etc. You can't use your own email address, and if you do, they reserve the right to block it. They are pretty anal about changing their T&Cs as well, despite all the complaints and discussion about it on myBB.

They will never block you if you use another ISP. I have openweb, afrihost and cybersmart accounts, and my line is with cybersmart. Only problem with cybersmart(or Telkom) is moving your line back to telkom. Apparently you "might" have 2-3 weeks downtime... usually telkom messes the move up and you have to re-apply for a adsl line...
