If you have time for that then you are not the target market.

I already accept the catastrophic risk of receiving one rotten or near expiry item as collateral for not having to loiter around a shop wasting my precious time.

If I'm hosting people and can't afford a stuff up then yes, I embark on the quest for that perfect veggie and apple.
 
Its pretty awesome as someone who has signed up and was using 60/60 about once a week. Now I am much more likely to use them for smaller orders rather than waiting to do a weekly shop.

Note also that they give you an opportunity to get a monthly instore 10% discount on a mx of R2000 spend (which is R200 max) so this would cover even a R149 fee.
 
Checkers is in financial trouble. Looking to generate income. Would love to see the fine print with all the restrictions though.

You cannot place these types of orders for delivery with Checkers.
 
Don't trust them - just did an in-store Checkers shop and some items showing discounts (on shelves / fridges) weren't discounted on the till slip ; would now need to go back to get sorted out.
 
Marketing working well, first raise the normal recommended retail price, offer discount with membership cards to the real cost of product
Then offer free delivery at prescribed amount forcing buyers to top up their carts to meet the set amount
Then offer a premium subscription to keep them shopping with you forever ha ha ha ha
 
BEST savings card to have. Seeing that chunk come off at the till is just superb.

Don't use the delivery service and am content with savings currently.

Yeah, was just saying the other day, apart from the okes that get killed in traffic accidents one of this little ***** is gonna get ****ed up when they sideswipe or rear end the wrong motorist. I hate these bastards with a burning white hot rage.

Have you read what the offer is all about?
For R99 Rand, you get a 10% discount INSTORE (max R200).
That means if you are buying INSTORE once a month and your trolley is anything between R990 and R2000, you have subsidized all your online deliveries for the month.

Last week a mini bus stroke’d one of these biker delivery guys! Milk and bread flew through the air! I doubt he made it in 60 min

well you could even get teh R2k groceries delivered, Just do like 4 orders.

Delivery is free!
 
I see I got the mail too … but it says ‘Sign Up’ which opens the app and … I can’t sign up?

I know the cost of living has gone up, but I can't see a shop of R2000 being loaded into1 of those motorbikes.

What I've witnessed Woolworth's Dash are the worst offenders, 60/60 seem to drive better.

I don't leave the shop without checking my till slip because on the days I don't and without fail, something is wrong.

Hard no from me. I'm cutting back on online ordering, so no 60/60 and I don't shop at Checkers enough to cover the cost. I'll keep to the cheapskate freebie version thank you.
 
No way I would let them pick my fruit, veg or meat I want to buy. I go to the store and select the best myself.
Even bread, milk or other dairy and fresh products I will go choose myself the ones with longest best before date.
That said, I have a Checkers fx 300m from my house that is open 8am-8pm.
Needed a can of cream the other night while making potjie. Timed myself from getting in car, go, get and pay and back in garage, 8min. 60/60 se moer.
