Heya, I'm sure you know this, but I believe cannabis is pretty kickass with dealing with the nausea and that sort of thing.

Best of luck Wrathex :) I know you will pull through this, years of speaking to you and reading your posts on various forums tell me you are one tough gal!

A possible suggestion would be to get something to smoke away the pain, My uncle has colon Cancer, been in Chemo a few times and this is his only relief during the trying times.

Cancer is a terrible thing but may God give you the strength to deal with it and we pray that you recover quickly.

As to Gerson Therapy please dude don't recommend that stuff to people suffering from cancer it is potentially dangerous. When you're suffering from a dread disease listen to your doctors they're not trying to scam you.

Friends mom had cancer and did chemo and she is still alive till this day,healthy.You already know its going to feel kak but keep a proper positive state of mind and you will be fine :)
 
Hang in there Wrathex and thanks for sharing your feelings with us. Chemo is a hideous thing but the mind can overcome. It's natural to be scared. We're here for you if you need to talk.

My gran is about to go through the same thing.

I asked a doctor i know about chemo and the fact is not everybody feels absolutely k**** when receiving the treatment.

I read your post and can see it oozes positivity which i really respect and admire.

Be at peace and know that no matter how bad it could get, remember that this battle is fought and won by many millions every year,by those even less positive then yourself.

Promise me that you will spoil yourself during this time and take it easy.

Keep it up and i promise to keep you in my prayers.

I read this and was like..oh wow..how sweeet...the DA has a rep here and they wishing Wrath well...then I saw the poster name lolz. Facepalm.

Question....is it with chemo that dope is supposed to help for or is that radiation or both? Can you get medical grade dope on prescription in SA?

The dope helps with the nausea and lack of appetite caused by chemo.

And no, you cannot.
 
Hiya wrathex! I hope things are going well for you with the chemo! I wish you all the best on this journey and please keep us posted on the progress.
 
The first chemo treatment went very well, I was on the drip from 12:30 till 16:45.
I'm drinking a lot of water, eating little, feeling fine even perky lol, subtle pains in stomach area,
no nausea. I also get steroids (in the drip) and I also get a strong sleeping tablet for
the evening :)

Must depart in 30 minutes for next afternoon. 12:30 - 16:45
Kindle and ipod on charge :D
