Chiefs vs. ManU Game

happy i didn't go to the match:)
I just really hate man united with a passion!

Eagles looks like Ibrahimovic's double:)

and oh yah Wayne Rooney is a ****er.

Well we were sh1te for most of the game and in the 2nd half we bought on six youngsters, some of whom I did not even know.

United had a lot more of the possession and the penalty looked like a dive from where I was sitting, but I guess 1-1 was a fair result.

That was a legit penalty (from where I was sitting (standing)). Cape Town is indeed a ManU crazy province. But I kept on blowing the Vuvuzela and raising my Chiafs flag as high as I can! I ended up sitting among some staunch ManU fans. I hate it when people get all emotional, I mean one dude was swearing, and whenever Chiefs has possesion he will go beserk! I really didnt care much whether who had possesion! For me it was entertainment! Look, locally I support Chiefs (and hate Pirates). Internationally I support ManU and Barca! But obviously I want either Chiefs or Pirates to moer ManU - no doubt about that!

It was a great game otherwise, great penalty from Quartey and an equally great header from Eagles (I like the laaitie). The difference was Khune, he is in my books the best keeper in SA!




Somebody made a dumb comment about why do two Jozi teams play in Durban and CT. Look, FNB is being renovated, besides, why would you want all 4 games to be played in one province???? Its about allowing all the spectators to get to see the games live. We do know that as far as support is concerned (fill up soccer stadiums) DBN comes first! And the final will be played at Loftus.




About that 8-0 prediction, dude, this is aint rugby.

Ha ha ha look at them pouring out their excuses! Now correct me if I am wrong but did United not play better in the second half when those "school children" were on the field?

And if your team, Man U to clarify, was so hot then surely one ill given penalty should not have made a difference as they surely should have beaten a South African club 4-0 anyway?

Yeah man, whatever. This clearly means that Chiefs are easily as good as United if not better :rolleyes:
 
its a meaningless pre season friendly.. a 'warm up' for united.....

for chiefs it was a rare opportunity to play against the worlds best, a good performance from them was expected, but dont expect united to play league or champions league football during a friendly

Colour/culture has everything to do with it.Some people just dont realize it.The facts are that blantely obvious.Why would any coloured , Indian , white support Kaizer chiefs over Man Utd.Kaizer chiefs is a black product.From the players , to the chairman ,marketing wise its targarted towards the black population.Kaizer chiefs has its roots in the townships.A white person cannot relate to this and hence clubs like Man Utd and liverpool will always be the preferred option.
 
people dont support local soccer because its ****. you can find a million reasons but thats it. low quality, in most cases poorly organized and many people simply grew up with watching english teams on the telly like their father and their fathers have.

if the psl want more spectators they need to aggressively market the game and get the quality to a decent level. this black and white product stuff is absolute rubbish. change the culture and meet the demand for quality and people will watch.

what a useless striker kaizer chiefs has...i dont think he even knew why he was on the field.
 
oh and a reminder that whether or not you a man u supporter, they played a friendly with quite a few unknowns. full stop.

if you going to start comparing kaizer chiefs to manchester united or any premier league team from england you are either a blind supporter or crazy. and cape town has a better public transport system than sydney..thought id keep the craziness going.
