Chilli sauce reviews

This sauce is pretty good. Don't like the packaging, but I guess you remove the wire before it gets too siff with spilled sauce.

Another (possibly better, though not as hot) is this

Love the Dr Trouble, but prefer the one that isn't double smoked. Haven't tried the other one as yet.

Anybody know of a physical store where I can browse for some Chilli sauces. Ideally shops that have reaper, Ghost pepper etc.

Currently in the Fourways/Lonehill area.
I get all of mine online. I'd also be interested in a B & M store.

My wife just got me a bottle of this. Tastes just like regular tabasco, but with a bit more heat which builds up nicely in your mouth.

Couldn't really taste guava or pineapple in it, but probably need to take a bit more.

We managed to get a bottle recently and we love it!

We recently spotted this sauce at our local Spar in Menlyn Maine and naturally, had to buy it.... because.... well, us.

Up front, we love this sauce, BUT.

I held off doing a review for the plain and simple fact that Chipotle features so prominently in the branding message, and, well, NOPE.

It's hard to beat the strong Chipotle smoke flavour of Tabasco brand's Chipotle sauce, so when we tasted this sauce, I didn't get what I was expecting, and that was disappointment in a teaspoon for me. Chicken wasn't as affronted by this as I was, and loudly proclaimed his love of the sauce up front, but it took me a beat to not think of Tabasco's Chipotle, and just try it as a hot sauce.

It's a great medium heat sauce with a good vinegary punch, nice lemony zing and a hint of smoke which I honestly attribute more to the paprika than the chipotle powder listed in the ingredients. I REALLY enjoyed it on corn on the cob this eve, so it really does go with anything, definitely recommend. And, of course, it's local, which is always a plus.

Not sure how this will turn out.

Chillis, cherries and dark rum. I'll leave it for about 6 months before I try it.

It is unfortunately not habernero season or I would have chosen them, or possibly birds eye chillis.

We did a habanero tequila for a NYE. Our buddy still blames us for his awful 2020 after drinking that when the clock struck 12

Tried the carribean bloodfire from chilliehead.co.za , man that is some strong stuff. But tasty with a long burn.

Oh, plenty.

But, my sincerest apologies, one too many whiskeys and I just read what you said and saw... well... red. Instead of seeing the Gochujang. As you were.

No worries. Came here to change my reply to something that doesn't make it sound like I need a collar and a leash. Enjoy your day!
