Chrome 10 is looking lean and mean

It's nice and fast. It unfortunately crashed on first use a few times, until I started it from the shortcut. That needs a fix. :)

I'm on Chrome 11 (nightlies) and loving it.

EDIT: on Linux of course. I pity the fool that's forced to use Winblows.

i've never been able to use chrome on my work laptop!for some reason it doesnt run unless i use the "-- no sandbox" parameter. I heard that this is a security risk and hence I have to downgrade to firefox at work :P

And what about the guys who choose to use Windows? I've been dual booting Windows 7 and Ubuntu for quite a while now, and I always find myself spending 99.9% of the time in Windows 7. But lets not fight about Windows vs Linux. This is about Chrome vs Firefox!:p

I think this post is a bit out-dated - I've been using the Chrome 10 Beta since it came out of Alpha (And that was quite awhile ago....)

I actually prefer to use Google Chrome 10 with Windows 7.

Anyone that has used Chrome/Chromium on Linux, would know by now that the fonts are so HUGE and screwed up that its actually annoying to use.

I am forced to use Firefox with Ubuntu.

Also use Photoshop a lot & unfortunately doesnt run on Linux.

So, both OSes fulfil a need, lets move past the childish comments.

That right there is fondling the lion's balls :D

You probably need to install propriety fonts still.

Im pretty happy. Now that I have HoN and WoW working perfectly on Ubuntu, I almost never boot into windows. Im happy. HoN is faster, Chrome is faster, and I dont have issues with fonts.

My work pc is fully Ubuntu, my home PC still has duel boot, but thats only for the occasional game I want to try out and that does not have a linux port. I havent booted into windows in weeks.

I totally hear you on the Photoshop thing. That Chris head developer at Adobe is an old fart. Theyre too lazy to port it to linux saying Linux users dont want to pay for stuff. I dont think thats true, considering I often pay for software for Linux and many many many people I know would move to Linux if they had the choice to run Dreamweaver and Photoshop on nix.
