Hey OP
Terms like gay, straight and bi are too limiting for human sexuality.
We barely understand what turns us on but we know that it is a combination of factors that are far too nuanced and subjective to be able to "bottle" it.

By labeling yourself as one of the three and even introducing a simplified Kinsey scale to your attraction; you need to realise that you, as a human being, with all the wondrous physical and psychological complexities can not conform to something that simplistic.

Just accept it as a quirk of your nature, like freckles or having brown hair or a larger than normal penis.
It is not a good thing and its not a bad thing, it is just a thing.

I agree 100% with you. My brain is working analytically, so that's why I try to pin point this feeling, can't help to do it in some way of measurement.

It is not a bad thing, but one have to work through it, first yourself and then 'convince' the people around you that you are happy with yourself the way you are, and they must accept you. If they don't accept you, then they must get out of your life. But just to see it as a thing, I don't agree, because it can make or break you.... depends how you react on it.

By equating it to something as natural and "normal" as having brown hair or freckles you reduce it to it's base form, being as natural and "normal" as having brown hair or freckles.
Most of the tension that is developed with our sexual preferences and sexual proclivities are due to the fact that society and through that peer pressure, we tend to make it so much more than what it is. We ascribe morals and ethics to our sexual interactions that are in most cases, completely irrelevant.
Our sexual morals are dictated by the prudish, bigoted and petty minorities of church and state.

Not too long ago homosexuality was accepted as a disorder, it is still illegal in some countries and seen as an abboration of nature even though there are a number of species that depict same sex behavior.
I digress. :o

In short, you are who you are, brown hair, freckles, larger than normal cock and your taste for men and women.
