[CNN] Preparing for a race war

The UK's daily Sun or whatever it is with the topless birds on page 3 has more credibility than CNN these days.

What's the matter? Didn't want to quote me in case I replied?
Wasn't really worried about what you said, I was more worried about that certain whataboutism is tolerated while others must be pointed out.

We must treat all whataboutism equal not only when it confirms our world view.

Fair enough, but what I was referring to was Don Lemon (also CNN) and so not whataboutism surely? The only reason I mentioned Megyn Kelly was because of Don Lemon's high and mighty meal of a reaction to what she said leading to her dismissal (which clearly was not meant to incite or be offensive), prior to him going ahead and being a raging hypocritical twat.

Still a little off topic whatabout. But its irrelevant really because we all whatabout in these forums so its a bit smug of someone to bring it up.

CNN had a chance to represent the real issues, but we have this. White South Africans are being painted as a bunch of Alt-Right nutbags.

There is no mention of the current land reform process either, and how the ANC has failed its people.

Agree, but to be fair, CNN had an article 5 days ago about land reform in SA -

https://edition.cnn.com/2018/11/15/africa/south-africa-land-reform-intl/index.html

They have also had several articles regarding Zuma, the ANC and corruption.

Oh my God. Ivanka's also using her personal email.

The headline is classic click bait. So yes there's always been a group of Afrikaners who are preparing for the 'end days', but it is such a small percentage of the population, it's not really worth investigating or writing a long story about.

The headline makes it sound like there is a substantial minority of the country preparing for a race war. Not even close.
Maybe they've been reading MyBB....... / runs and hides. :X3:

How curious. A different news network (in the US) reported similarly about land expropriation in SA.

Ya but that was all fine and good because Foxes spin was seen in a good light by certain forumites when really both outlets are spinning for their own agendas.

They should have represented the facts in a balanced manner, as those links will not be made. You know it, and we know it. This is reporting for clicks, and to be controversial.
Yes totally agreed. It is pure sensationalism.
