So you are saying solaradvice pulled the CoCT registration fee from their arse?
Yes, read my previous replies, post 6 & 26. They can make up & charge whatever they want, doesn't mean that fee is payable to CoCT.
That is pretty clear from the video I posted.

You have to pay the fee, cause "everything just works" mindset

So solaradvice is just randomly dreaming up a fee for CoCT only? Ok. Now what about the network charge that other municipalities don`t have to pay like for CoCT?

And where would that R6k come from? Other rates payers????:mad::mad:

Socialism I tells ye, AAAARRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHH commie barstards...
The socialist aspect hits harder when you only get 30% of the feed-out price when feeding in. And then when the connection levy and feed-out price goes up by 10-15%, the feed-in price goes up by only 1,5%. Brilliant socialist trap.

Why is it that only CoCT has a R6k registration fee? Why is it that JHB does not have to pay the network charge on pre-paid? Nobody is able to go solar in the Cape, its failing because of CoCT!

Also, it was CoCT that introduced all the solar tariffs to punish solar investments further. Times have drastically changed and people are suffering and yet CoCT is forcing the failed socialist system on to the people of the Cape.

CoCT has screwed up the solar uptake for the people of the Cape with their failed unfair socialist rate payer punishing solar policy. Fvck CoCT, enforcing socialist failure. "Together we do you pay more. The shitty that works for you us."
Oh boy - wait until you find out about the R10 000 you need to fork out for a meter (to be able to feed back) and the fact that you don't get paid for it, you just get "credit".

That you get paid 90c odd per kWh you feed back, but they charge customers R2.70+ per kWh they sell.

That the kWh you're allowed to feed back is based on your meters ampage (arbitrarily) so I can only feed back 400kWh a month - even if i've got more to offer.

Hence with 9.72kWp on the roof I opted to not register to feed back - as it's not worth it for me as a consumer, better to just let it frizzle away in to the ether than have it cost me money. (still SSEG registered, just with no feedback present).

OMG these socialist scum are outdoing themselves, scoring money from Eskom`s failure and people`s suffering.

If you only care about you, why don't you keep your electricity and switch on another bar on your fire?

If you ever want an example of a thread that is just a complete waste of everyone's time, including the OP, this thread is it.

Atleast the OP lives up to his/her name.
Thanks for your useless input, may your other posts also bring enlightenment.

Why don`t you give up your capitalist house and go live in a social house? Hypocrite.

Norravok. I earned my house and everything in it.

I do mind my taxes and rates being wasted though when they could do a lot of benefit to needy people.

The fee that SA and other installers charge is to do the registration for you. You're welcome to do it yourself for free if your time isn't worth much.

How are you not getting this? It's like everyone on this thread is wrong, only you're right, and now you're pissed about it instead of conceding. Classic narcissist...
