I'm still having the problem of connected but zero throughput. I can safely say that this problem is now out of hand. Its been like this since Tuesday Randburg Area on the HSPA+ network.
So when will this be resolved Cellc??
Same thing here, i.e. since Tuesday and in Randburg. Iconically tested yesterday at Cresta Cell C and it was fine.I'm still having the problem of connected but zero throughput. Just to be clear then, your connection is fine then after about 2 hours traffic stops and you are forced to power cycle the router to reconnect?...connections are stable for a solid 2 hours on average before a reboot is required. this becomes really frustrating with speedstick and router combination. rebooting the router simply does not help, you are often required to switch off router entirely or physically remove/insert speedstick...

When this happens:
Can you still access www.cellc.co.za? - SOMETIMES YES AND NO
Does DNS resolution still work? (e.g. 'nslookup google.co.za') - No
C:\>nslookup google.co.za

Are you able to ping or open any sites by IP address?
PING - Sometimes Yes and No
OPEN SITES - Barely, painfully slow, websites stop loading halfway through
A couple of examples:

I have this for the last 2 weeks. Disconnect and quickly connect and one can surf, but if you stop...its gone again.
same here....doubt the problem is area specific, its a general network problem.....connections are stable for a solid 2 hours on average before a reboot is required. this becomes really frustrating with speedstick and router combination. rebooting the router simply does not help, you are often required to switch off router entirely or physically remove/insert speedstick.....
I've noticed this problem is more frequent when connection is left idle. routers (maybe mine only - Air3G) does not reconnect once this problem occurs. it fails horribly when trying to reconnect. surprisingly it reconnects fine with a Vodacom data sim if the connection drops...strange...
Same issue for me in Nortcliff, it is bloody irritating.
Been trying to update my iPhone (600MB odd download which is non-resumable).
Got to 6MB, then no throughput.
Got to 350MB, then no throughput.
Each time I start from 0, so ended up wasting a lot of data.
