ROFL - Despite that fact, the Wii pwned the others, Wii = PS3+XBox. Can't wait for HD version of the console...
I have all my games running completely off usb harddrive using Wiiflow....

I agree, while in the proportianite light you may be correct, the wording leaves much to be desired. I wish I could lose 12% of year on year sales while selling 20+ Million units on a nearly 4 year old piece of hardware while my competitiors are strugling to still reap profits on there R&D budgets and have to drop to your old price level to come even close COMBINED to your market share.

I dont really see how you can compare a WII to a PS3 or Xbox360 though. Its like comparing a chappy to a bar of chocolate.

It would be more fair if they compared the WII to a PS2.

So only graphics factor into your comparison? Game play means nothing?
 
Well the numbers speak for themselves. I'm just saying Nintendo got it right somehow.

Err... a PS3 cause she would probably break her hip on a Wii Fit, and parkinsons and a Wii remote just don't really do it hey...

Fun factor? I thought that was the goal of every console... Otherwise if you meant novelty... then yes, the Wii has that down.

Are you guys still enjoying your 2nd tier consoles? With all the money Nintendo is making they should buy Sony's console division and upgrade the PS3 to a next-generation console...

What they don't factor in to that article is the fact that a lot of people have multiple consoles.

You need to have a look at how many games are sold during the year to see who is really donminating.

When either Xbox or Ps3 outsell the wii in both games and hardware then I will admit that they are the loosers... that is still far off, even with current trends its still like 2 years off.


Also think of it like this.... the PS3 was launched at a loss, now its finally making a profit and starting to pump in the sales dept. Wii launched at a profit and has been selling double the amount of hardware for twice as long as the Ps3 has been around.

Expect BIG things from Nintendo and the wii this year.
