I thought the same, had one night in weeks of being able to watch IPTV.

now my speeds are back to 17/ 53, so, whatever the accelerator changes were last night, they didn’t stick.

I noticed the change at 18.50.

Please log for me as we don't see any loss on the international front, iperfs are a proactive thing to submit at the same time.

All iperf are clear, I was told the problem is on your network, and changes and upgrades are being performed.

Please quote the ticket number for me to have a look? If it was clear then you would have the same results at all times of the day.

@PBCool Usually Friday's aren't the best day to test the loss on my end, as mostly they're okay. But I will say, I was playing games with a mate last night (international) and I've never had such smooth latency. 0 Packet loss on my end and general input delay was improved.
Additionally, something I didn't notice before was browsing seems to be quicker as well. Just generally more responsive (I work a lot with the states so using that as my benchmark).
I have one question, I got an sms saying "maintenance" will be taking place on the 30th - 31st January in my area from Vumatel. Do you know what this might entail. I'm worried they stuff it up now that it appears to be working. xD

Hello,

I just wanted to let you guys know that exitlag improved a lot for South Africa. And the pricing isn't in USD anymore(Was $6.50) R69 per month or R40 pm if you take it for a year. I know we all want our ISP's to have the best solution but I thought I would just share what works for me. Maybe somebody finds it helpful.

I will list some in-game screenshots for Apex Singapore and Overwatch EU from Pretoria. I also use it for EU Apex and I found that the ping would always be the same or better compared to my brother with just Cool Ideas. They also fixed the option that you select Europe for Apex and exitlag will pick the servers.

Got a month to re-test. When it's running fine it's great, but I get regular massive ping / loss spikes, making it completely unplayable. Dunno if they're having issues today or what, but not usable for me in this state.

Thanks I've gone through it all.

There were no upgrades relative to TTConnect that I am aware of I suspect the technician was referring to the accelerator change, also this has nothing to do with provisioning, that is simply something that controls total profile capacities. IE 50Mbps vs 100Mbps and is done via TTConnect.

You need to please run iperfs to our local server during peak and off peak and compare the results, please stick to 90M.

Our TTConnect interface currently peaks at 30%, which then interfaces with our core. So no need to upgrade anything on that front.

This still points to last mile congestion which with TTConnect isn't a new situation, I wouldn't be surprised if this is also related to DFA challenges as TTConnect use them as a backhaul provider in most circumstances.

Well as mentioned there were reports of changes in Cape Town when we havent done anything there, but relative to yourself there should be some improvements :)

Re the Vumatel maintenance it is usually backhaul related so can only really improve things.

Seeing this never gets old:

Me and other Openserve 500Mbps customers right now...

Whats up with routing? yesterday 35ms, this morning 11ms to CT :) and now an hour or so later back to 35ms :(
It's honestly getting pretty annoying when gaming. I usually play eu and when it hops from 150 to 180ms at random times it's so infuriating.

No lag spikes here ....

Not sure, those NLDs along the coast are super unstable unfortunately.

We are all reliant on the same NLDs the FNOs use, the alternative would be to possibly flip back to KZN but it would be insignificant. Loads of IP changes etc.
