Step one, get an American iTunes account.
Step two, buy an iTunes voucher somewhere
Step three, download apps from the iTunes store.
Step four, have lotsa fun!

Yes, you can buy apps from the App Store, buy music and movies from iTMS and there are Ebook subscriptions from various publishers. Lots of cool stuff. Works in the US though.
