Good day. Yoh where do i start. I have an opel corsa lite 1400. The car overheated and from there on the car started overfueling. All sensors was replaced litterly every sensor you can think of. Then the head were overhauled and its still overfeuling. When i start it immediatly the fan comes on. Could wiring cause this problem. Its been 5 months of struggeling. Im fed up with this. Can someone please help

What is overfueling? Pardon my ignorance.

I don't know about over fuelling but the fan coming on when you start means either the coolant temperature or the wiring is faulty, coming on immediately is a safety precaution. Since the car was worked on maybe they forgot to plug it back in.

I had a dieseling issue on my 1400 Utility (same engine as the Lite) and after a period stretching into years I eventually discovered that one of the fuel injectors was dirty to the extent that it didn't "atomise" the fuel but just delivered a stream of fuel into the cylinder. This caused carbon build-up etc. and the rest is history.

What I am alluding to is that the symptom of "overfueling"could possibly also be caused by the fuel injectors. For the record, I have never had a fuel injector fail on any of my (even very high mileage) cars, which naturally leads me to suspect that the particular ones used in the 14NE Brazilian-made engine may not have been of the highest quality.

Fuel injectors can be tested and sometimes cleaned but even so the replacement ones are not prohibitively expensive. If you are patient and have a lot of faith in international shipping you can import a set of 4 from China (where for sure the replacement injectors you can buy are manufactured anyway) for the proverbial song ..
