After experiencing some really pathetic speeds on the Internet 5 promo, I decided to ditch my 3G modem and insert my sim into a Nokia c5 cellphone. I then connected the cellphone to my router. My speeds have significantly increased. I was previously experiencing dl's of 400kbps and ul of 100kbps. I am now getting speeds of 3.5Mbps dl and 1.7Mbps ul. My pings have gone from 200+ to less than 60ms.
Was previously using e220 modem.
Could it be my modem or could it be that 8ta's network does not support older modems?
