Couple assaulted at KFC drive-through

Sorry I meant to say over a week ago.

The 4 appeared in the magistrates court on Friday last week.
 
These are the sort of people that really should not be in civil society , just going on the McD statement and the video, its a shame that is all we got to go by , it would have been nice if there was some CCTV footage we could sync the audio up with to see what triggered this, what tell tail signs people with extreme aggression have and what set them off, very little can ever justify 6 grown men assaulting two people.

Lets hope they get swift justice and get thrown in jail asap.

KFC simply realise that their business is to simply cook chicken. Not to right the countless social ills of South Africa like Spur tried to do.

I remember that video , its funny to this day even tho it is dubbed over.

Funniest part is the car behind her just drives up to the drive true after seeing all of that !@#!@# like nothing has happened XD

Due process is quite an important part of our legal system. Trial by media and the mob justice thay follows isn't a good idea. Releasing video footage at this stage will achieve nothing. It should only be shown to the public at the trial.
Let's hope for real justice.

Good, let the law take it's course. My son recently was on the receiving end of some drunken idiots bravado.
 
9 Aug 2017, Cape Town: KFC Assult Case: After hearing all the news and reading all the reports it was quite shocking to see this video that surfaced today. This proofs how the whole case was blown out of proportion and how the so called victims tried to manipulate and milk the situation.

You can clearly see the male "victim" after the fight smiling and joking around, his wife is constantly screaming and swearing at the two men that were parked behind them.

I heard on the news that both of them were released from hospital only yesterday, it surely didn’t look like they needed to be hospitalised as you can clearly see on the photos and video.

Apparently the victim was blowing his hooter in his car repeatedly and screaming that the people in front of him should move. He eventually got out of his car to confront the two youngsters in front of him.



He approached them in an aggressive way and the argument started. If an angry man approaches your car you know that you are being attacked already, self-defence also should naturally start playing in your mind by then.

All the people in the que then got involved as it was now holding everybody up. This is not a race issue, this is one man getting impatient and losing his cool who then got into trouble because he was out of line.

You can even hear on the new video how one of the staff members of Kentucky apologise to one of the arrested men. It is clear that they did not start the fight and that the “victim provoked everybody.

It is also clear that the so called six assault suspects do not know each other as stated in the news and social media. The six can therefore also not be linked to other attacks as stated by the minister of police.

They must have the wrong crowd here. It was also stated on social media that the lady "victim" apparently slapped on of the accused more than once before she then grabbed her phone and started screaming "Are you going to hit me" repeatedly clearly stating that she is not assaulted, and questioning if they are going to assault her.



South Africans must realise that the accused men’s lives are in danger, let's not make the situation bigger than it should be.

We all agree that fighting is not the answer and that violence should not be tolerated, but as a rainbow nation we must look past the colour of the skin and look at the whole situation and all the evidence before we jump to conclusion of racist attacks etc.

It will also help if KFC would provide the full unedited footage that they might have on their security cameras.
