Does that make it ok?

And why can't people police themselves to better better citizens? If people policed themselves, then the govt would have more resources available for other things.

No.. I actually hope for a bit of consideration from retards... but that seems to be a big ask so yes a ban seems like the only viable solution at the moment.

If you let off a large loud firework with 500m of a dog it's like a gun going off next to your head for them... consider that their hearing is vastly more sensitive than yours...

Again stop blaming what you consider a responsible gun owner and go after the thugs buying guns off the streets.


Currently it is legal, we have bylaws for proper use/safety just like guns. You then get the rest of population who doesn't care.

I don't currently have pets and if I did they would be properly taken care of to reduce stress. Bring them in, put on TV/radio loud.

The people who left their animals, to be away over new years, put their own needs ahead of their pets, they shouldn't come cry crocodile tears now.

We were lucky, with CPF and others, we managed to keep the fireworks to a minimum in our area, sale and use wise. Illegal sellers were reported.

Wooosh yourself, many people in SA just don't give a F and only the big stick approach work with them, unfortunately they don't give me the authority as a citizen to use a big stick on others who are missbehaving and not end up in jail/courts myself.

So they have no capacity to know that it happened last year and thus will in all likelihood happen this year and thus just go "meh, lets go out, the retards won't do it again this year"? They suffer affluenza or what?
 
Must not have been too bad where I live. I slept through new years and didn't hear anything (Yes, I lead a very exciting life).
