Do people like the flashing lights of the fireworks, the noise or both?

Really should just make loud ones illegal, I just checked, there are more silent ones...

I don't believe fireworks(holiday celebration) can be equated to apartheid/etolls.

Say you are right and we ban all new year fireworks(holiday for this purpose). Whats next, alcohol at the parties because we know there will be someone drunk and driving? Driving is the most dangerous thing most people do, lets ban that now too because of all the accidents over the holiday season.
