Killing Floor for R30! That's a bargain! Just a quick question about Steam and your game's save files, let's say I formatted my pc and reinstalled steam and downloaded my game again, will my current progress still be intact or should I have made a manual backup?

Your save games are not uploaded somewhere, so no, if you did not back it up manually it's gone with the format. Even updates won't be "saved" , if you download from steam you download the original version and then it will update [if there are any] again.

Each game store their save games at different places [most is under "my documents" etc]

Whats wrong with teh uber nerd? He/she sounds perfect for this. Prob even has a paypal a/c into which you can pay back.

Oh, and don't try to bypass it via a proxy...it'll end in tears.

No it does not.
I used my Visa card and it worked perfectly. just changed the Country, State, Zip Code and all was good.
Got the full Rockstar Game Pack which is only available on the US Steam store.

GTA 1 + 2 + 3 + Vice City + San Andreas + GTA IV + Episodes From Liberty City, Manhunt, Max Payne 1 + 2, Wild Metal, Bully Scholarship Edition, Midnight Club 2.

You decide :p. The GTA games made it worth while for me since i only have GTAIV on PS3.
