The ball wasnt that bad, just half a metre off, not much room for error with a spinner
Was a pretty boring game overall but 6 off the last ball to win it was worth being there :D

For those that dont know, Dolphins needed 6 off the last ball, Claude Henderson to Johan Louw, straight six!

I was at the Spur last night with my girlfriend.
Watched the whole second innings but in the last 5 overs, I started to get worried, people could see it in my face, everytime a 4 or something, I was very vocal, suffice to say, by the 3rd last over, whole of Spur was watching the game, and last 2 overs I couldn't sit down anymore and I was right by the tv with my hands behind my head.
Last over I was literally on my knees praying - yes, at the Spur.
When Lange got the 2 wickets and the last one on the last ball, I went ape and so did the whole of Spur.

Was crazy!

Loved it, even if it was a draw - it was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yip, their bowling discipline is lacking a bit. Too many 4/6 balls.

Luke7777 - please don't be an idiot now - it's Pro20 - the point of the game is to hit 6's and 4's.

There are always bowlers who are going to get the crud hit outta them but it's what makes Pro20 so damn exciting!

Most if not all games should be like last nights game.

The problem starts with the team batting first does not make a high enough score.

Like, look;

Gibbs out for 8
Puttick out for 4
Davids out for 4

I mean come on!

Gibbs - 8?

In a latest edition of Huis Genoot, he says that there is no new woman in his life, all he wants to do is concentrate on cricket and when he isn't playing cricket, he wants to rest.

COMPLETE AND UTTER BS!

People are starting to associate 'crap cricket = H. Gibbs'

RETIRE MAN!

:D Idiot your f**((%^ self. I'm talking about bad bowling, not good batting. I don't mind 4s and 6s, but the bowling has to be even more disciplined because of that.

The Cobras now suddenly have the strongest team :(

Maybe so, but don't think because we have the SA team members in our team that we will win.

I mean, Gibbs will probably play - and that is a waste of a spot because he will probably go out for 5 or something.

Still with Smith and Duminy in the team, it should be an easy ride for Cobras. If the Cobras do lose somehow, then we really are the most useless franchise on planet Earth. I mean, Duminy is the next big thing in SA cricket & we have the SA captain - two luxuries the Dolphins don't have.

3. Henry Davids
4. JP Duminy
5. Justin Ontong

8. Rory Kleinveld
9. Roger Telemachus
10. Claude Henderson
11. Charl Langeveldt

WHY IN GODS NAME IS GIBBS THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Surely someone else can play and score more runs! ARG!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who would you play instead of Gibbs? We'd gladly take him, if he comes off it goes a long way to winning

I'd rather have Van Zyl or Phillander.

Why?

Because when it comes to batting, both the above mentioned players would go out and TRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gibbs will come out, swing a few times or something along those lines and go out for probably under 10.

If he gets more than 20 tonight - I'll probably cry!

I almost have NO faith left in Gibbs - I say ALMOST because I do have some faith in him, but he has let me down so many times (I say me, because I really do support the Cobras 100% of the time) that I can't really expect anything from him because he fails EACH TIME!

If you follow the Cobras, you'll know that even Brand can and would probably do better than Gibbs will (especially tonight) because it's crunch time now... Cobras can't mess around - we need to win the next few games to win the Standard Bank Pro20 tournament!

Yip, I'll play Philander/Van Zyl too. Saying that, HG will probably score 70 of 30, take a stunning one hander and run out 2 batsmen. I'm not convinced about Puttick. No other keeper/batsman there ?
