21.4 Morkel to Strauss, OUT, got him now! A great delivery from Morkel, round the wicket, finds some lift and Strauss fends on the back foot, slightly away from his body and the meaty edge goes through and is pouched without trouble
AJ Strauss c Boucher b Morkel 27 (65b 4x4 0x6) SR: 41.53

Smith is the most common family name (surname) in the United Kingdom and the United States, representing more than 1 out of every 100 persons in each of these countries. It is particularly prevalent among those of English descent.

What ever happened to good sportsmanship Devilliers?

Do we have a pom in our presence? It seems it may be so! :)

Not really sure what the implication of your first post was but you will find that Strauss and Pietersen were born in SA and do not only have South African names as you seem to be insinuating....

Don't worry if you can't get good genes in the UK you can always still buy sportsmen!

Haha very funny:D. I'm being sarcastic because I'm bored of hearing the same Pietersen, Strauss jokes! Not that anyone will listen to me...hehehe

28.2 Steyn to Pietersen, OUT, got him now! Steyn punches hard, delighted, after finding a better length outside off, Pietersen flashes firmly away from the body and the thick edge goes through
KP Pietersen c Smith b Steyn 45 (46b 7x4 1x6) SR: 97.82

123/5. Ambrose out to Ntini for 12. Caught by Boucher. Let's target 200.

And this morning after Graeme won the toss and chose to field, everyone was questioning his decision. Things could have gone worse. England could have batted as well as they did in the first test. I mean generally if you win the toss, you bat, but you need to take conditions into consideration. It's a fine line between hero and zero.

Remember, its never just a captains decision to bat or bowl. It will be discussed by the whole team, and probably again by the coach, captain and senior players. By the time Smith walks out there, the decision has been made.

If things go well, its the bowlers that did good, if things go badly its Smith's fault. Not really fair, but thats what people do.

Why is Kallis bowling and not Morkel ?

Surely you'd want the bowler that has looked most dangerous bowling straight after lunch ??

I know, but that's the way the average man sees it, ie: it's Smith's decision, even though it's not entirely his too make. And yeah, not fair on him if the bowlers are poor or if the batsmen are on a roll.
