one can see that the T20 series and all the cricket India had over the year really improved their playing preformance, It would be nice to have a another superpower in cricket who can give the aussies more of a go , south-Africa isn't cut out for it yet unfortunately.

I'm not to sure about that, we're playing a home series against them soon, and for once I'd be prepared to bet actual money that we'll beat them 2-1.

The away series, I'd give to the Aussies 2-1.

Well that is if steyn recoveres :p

Also we are not performing that well in the ODIs atm. :(

And if India does become a "super"-power in world cricket it could only be good for us :)

Those last few days in England are a distant memory, and probably a good thing as we aren't in the usual windgat mood before an Aussie series.
We were kicking some ODI butt before we went there.

Remember, we nearly beat India in India, not too long ago.
When they were last here, we did beat them pretty easily, they were never in it.

We certainly performed better against India than the Aussies are right now.

Aye :)

I do hope we learn to prepare spin friendly-ish pitches so our batsmen can become use to them.

Aus are being exposed in india for not having any decent spinner. White is a pathetic excuse for one. They are going to struggle to find a replacement for warnie.

Wonder whether they will go with the normal way of preparing spinners tracks for the sa-aus series. The way there team is going they might be forced to prepare seaming wickets.

VVS almost on a double 100!!:)

India 579/7 (155.4 ov)
Aussies got a wicket!!! They are taking control. :D

155.4 Johnson to Kumble, OUT, Johnson gets Kumble, shuffling across in an attempt to nudge the ball away to the leg side, ball hits his pads and Billy Bowden has a thought before raising his crooked finger
A Kumble lbw b Johnson 45 (73b 7x4 0x6) SR: 61.64

Laxman on 200*

19 overs to go in the day, think it'll be 17 overs for the Aussies.
