strategically it won't work. for example, in this test a left hand batsman has a disadvantage of facing more balls that will hit those long big cracks, so it would be easy to feign injury and replace the top left hand batsman with another right hand batsman. it can also give a side the opportunity to keep an extra batsman around and dump one of the bowlers when batting, so that's not a good thing.It's unfortunately never been allowed. Probably because they could get a sub that's better than the rh player (although in this case it would be hard) which would make the game unfair... but at the end of the day a rh player isn't exactly a good thing for us...
We will be playing hard for at least a draw here, we can at least try to keep up the good work.
