Aussies may as well have kept Hughes in on this flat track so he can find form.
Can't believe they dropped him after 2 tests.

Aussie selectors are a bit meaner than the SA ones.

Yeah. But they have almost worked him out 100%...

like Duminey he is not the best player of the shorter ball... Or maybe they figured they should just experiment while they can't really do a lot worse atm :p:D

They pounded him with short balls when he was here - it was our strategy.
Appears to have lost favour...well Manou was picked so I guess he is now #2
Last few years he's been making headlines for a few "explosive" innings.

Nog eenetjie

Onions to Ponting, OUT, got him! He's out! A quick bouncer, Ponting went for a hook and got a thin edge through to Prior. Onions has bowled so, so well this morning

RT Ponting c †Prior b Onions 38 (47b 5x4 0x6) SR: 80.85

Hope the english keep doing well and the rain stays away :)

2.40pm And play has been abandoned for the day, and what a miserable scene this is for the poor old groundsmen. It's dark, gloomy, cold and chucking it down. And it's the end of our comms, too. So do join us tomorrow morning at 10.30am, when hopefully we'll have better news for you. Until then, t'ra

Did anyone else hear Warnie whining when Koertzen didn't give that LBW and Hawkeye showed it clearly going over the top? Classic stuff.
