Cricket: Test Cricket

Ridiculous. We should have been batting already (or maybe Smith was trying to avoid this). Anyway, stumps day 3. Tomorrow is a crucial day for us. We could either win or lose the match by tomorrow.
 
I read somewhere on the internet that SA are like a dog that keeps on chasing the car and when finally within grasp they don't have an idea what to do next.

Agreed but that's the difference with the Aussie tail vs West Indies or Bangladesh, Aussie's can bat all the way down to the baggage master (if he were required)...
 
So ends day3 and with 2 days to go what is going to happen?

Aussies still can get another 10 or 100 runs.

It doesnt matter what final score OZ gets - SA gotta back themselves, Particularly with the time they should have to get it in - 1 day and a half, and thats of course there is no rain, which TBW is predicted for tomorrow morning, so i heard.

Guess we'll just have to wait for what pans out on day 4...

Its been a good match so far, fairly even.
 
If SA doesn't do the same kind of basic mistakes vs johnson again we have an outside chance.

Amla seems to be in good touch again, and seems to be the only one that is able to cope with Johnson. For some reason our batsmen can't seem to handle the left hander delivering balls that just angle across them. But Amla since he came in played the same ball positively and it took good fielding from Clarke to stop the boundries.

The batting coach really needs to look at that. The right hand bowlers are not having the same success, and as for the spinner, we all know how SA does not know how to play spin well. :o
 
Yeah ! Why doesn't SA have a left hand bowler in the team yet ???
 
Justin Langer says its a flat wicket -> no problems for SA to get the runs.
 
Guys SA are looking really good. They can easily win this.

Smith on 108!!! This guy is my favorite cricketer in the world!! Hopefully these two can see the day out and get some more runs tomorrow! If de Villiers, Kallis and maybe one or two others can get 50's then I think will win this one!

We still need like 240 but with a full days play and 9 wickets in hand, its very much possible.
