Which US strike groups are near which borders ?
Uhm, how many CSG's are deployed worldwide and what is the capable strike range?
I don't need to answer the question. I'm very much a neutral person depending on matters.

Rather interesting how the USA dictates what another world power may do within their own borders when US have strike groups deployed on near every border. This would be better should a body like the UN stated their opinion on the matter. Perhaps Russia is deploying troops to prevent a possible Ukrainian motive… who really knows.
Under the current condition, both the Ukrainians and Russians will be on alert.
be honest, US and russia both can't be trusted.
PS: how much do you think US will charge? more expensive / cheaper than russia?
I guess more expensive.![]()
you?

I think you are forgetting who the first aggressor was here. Russia is the one who decided to do a land grab, not Ukraine or America. I think the Russians have made their motives and agenda pretty clear.
Not trying argue with you. Just thought since you stated this with conviction that you might have some references to back it up. I take your lack of an answer as an answer in itself![]()

http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/03/26/us-ukraine-crisis-gas-idUSBREA2P1EY20140326Ukraine's new leaders, in a step the ousted government had balked at, said on Wednesday it would raise the price of gas for domestic consumers by more than 50 per cent from May 1 and would raise prices further under a fixed timetable to 2018.
.............
There will be a timetable of tariffs until 2018. For the population, the rise will be more than 50 per cent from May 1. For utilities it will be a rise of 40 percent from July 1," Yuri Kolbushkin, a senior Naftogaz official, told journalists.
One of the first things the IMF demanded the Ukraine do was to raise domestic gas prices by 40% if they were going to do business with them. This was one thing the previous government didnt want to do.
Hey presto the new government has just decided to shaft the average consumer in the Ukraine in a bid to kiss the IMF's backside.
Ukraine to hike domestic gas prices by 50 percent to meet IMF demands

Welcome to the West
Austerity, the change you bled for, Ukrainians. Welcome to the Europe you love so much
Is it just their way of making sure that Ukraine pays their debts??
Pretty much, its to facilitate the collection of debt servicing obligations. They are doing that by raising gas prices, so Nanfeishen has that one a little backwards.
And the plot thickens !!
what does the gas price have to do with the IMF??
Is it just their way of making sure that Ukraine pays their debts??
running up massive debt is so much more fun

more Obama logic
You probably know that in the East, most buildings have central heating powered by gas. The tradition for decades has been to keep the prices very low, which conflicts with capitalist ideology. I believe poor Ukranians had it good for a long time, and now they are going to fork out more for all services. One of the first things the IMF demanded the Ukraine do was to raise domestic gas prices by 40% if they were going to do business with them. That's nothing, they force african countries to increase maize prices even when a large percentage of the population is starving because they cannot afford the current prices.
