Which US strike groups are near which borders ?

Uhm, how many CSG's are deployed worldwide and what is the capable strike range?

I don't need to answer the question. I'm very much a neutral person depending on matters.

Rather interesting how the USA dictates what another world power may do within their own borders when US have strike groups deployed on near every border. This would be better should a body like the UN stated their opinion on the matter. Perhaps Russia is deploying troops to prevent a possible Ukrainian motive… who really knows.

Under the current condition, both the Ukrainians and Russians will be on alert.

I think you are forgetting who the first aggressor was here. Russia is the one who decided to do a land grab, not Ukraine or America. I think the Russians have made their motives and agenda pretty clear.

I have no idea. The US isn't a charity.

The US has a better relationship the European countries, than the Russians. If anything EU countries could probably negotiate a discount in exchange for supporting the US more in the UN against the Russians

As a matter of fact, there is current round of trade negotiations going on between the EU and the US, so the gas deals will be part of this. If anything EU is going to score with better access to US markets and the US will get better access to EU markets. In the meantime the Russians get isolated. Chinese investments in the US and EU increase in value, so they wont really mind either. What does Russia offer the world other than oil and gas ? Besides invasion.

This whole business is only going to strengthen both NATO and US/EU economic relationships. NATO has now has new purpose.

Since the end of the cold war, European countries had started looking more to Russia as a partner because of the obvious proximity. Putin has now managed to once again give the EU and the US a reason to work more closely together. And to start putting more money back into NATO. Russia's influence is now going to be less not more.

EDIT; I never implied the US can be trusted. You cant trust any govt. Even your own.

I know very well what is going on. You also did not read that I said it would had been better should such a statement (or opinion since it based on the next step) as to what should be going on within your own borders be made by a collective or collaborative entity such as the UN.

Pretty much, its to facilitate the collection of debt servicing obligations. They are doing that by raising gas prices, so Nanfeishen has that one a little backwards.

You probably know that in the East, most buildings have central heating powered by gas. The tradition for decades has been to keep the prices very low, which conflicts with capitalist ideology. I believe poor Ukranians had it good for a long time, and now they are going to fork out more for all services.

Most buildings in the UK have central heating powered by gas. This is actually common throughout most of Europe, west and east.

That's nothing, they force african countries to increase maize prices even when a large percentage of the population is starving because they cannot afford the current prices.

Only if you use the term "force" loosely, their has to be contracts, terms and assurances in order to minimize risks when loaning billions of dollars.
