You have a good point there. I will try to get some MP in then, don't know if it'll help me much :p

As for the distings... huh? I guess I haven't played that far yet, I didn't even know you could upgrade the suit, that's awesome!

If you upgrade the suit in MP will the changes take effect in SP as well? or vice versa?
 
Hay guys where can i play on local servers...? just received my limited edition copy yesterday and registered and all.....most pings are above 250....guess overseas....so where can i play on local servers...? played one match and connection was lost...eish.....
 
The ping indicated in the server browser are not accurate and also do not give a correct indication of players on the server. I found SA servers at the 1000 ping range, but when I join it the ping was normal, although filled with internationals. (That was the one time I could play)
Just look for iGame/WAGE/MWEB servers. Its a bit of a bother, because you have to page through so many servers, but add the server to your favourites when you find one.
 
Even after struggling to get into the actual Multiplayer page and getting disconnected while playing I must say I am hooked! (G)

Just sad that there are so many bugs, SP was riddled with them - mainly the "nano catalyst points" bug. Stored 5K points exactly only to return to 2800! Even worse was when I still played on and points went missing or into negative points, sucks when you need 3k to just get back to 0 :p

Still solid game. Now who wants easy kills? :o
 
About to go buy this game, just a quick question.....

How much would I need to download before I can play it with DX 11 enabled?

It doesnt have DX11 yet. So nobody knows what the patch size will be. If there is a DX11 patch.
 
I've been playing a bit...but the hackers on the server coupled with the bugs really put me off. I mean the first couple of days I couldn't even click Multiplayer without the game instantly crashing :/ Then had to use a work around to get it to save my cd key, and now I get onto a server to find people able to stay invisible permanently or run super fast around the screen and lastly its inability to save my stats/unlocks >.<

Weird, I haven't noticed any of that. Maybe I'm just lucky or blind.

For the cd-key problem: what I did was open the game, then before playing sp or mp, i entered the cd-key, then changed between the sp and mp screens a few times while entering the cd-key each time. After all that I quit the game, without playing at all, then after loading the game again, all was fine and the key was properly saved.

To find them filter by iGame then by WAGE then by mweb and add the servers to your favorites. I think its case sensitive.

Actually joining a server is the hard part, but what I find works best is clicking on the server clicking info and seeing how many guys are waiting in the lobby (server browser isn't accurate).
If you join a server lobby and it doesn't display the text "waiting for x players" or "game starting in X" then leave because the game will never start.
 
I find that I have to shoot a whole clip at someone before they die.... WTF??

I now choose sniper in most games and just find a quiet corner - YES CAMPING! Because otherwise I get about 3/4 kills and about 8/9 deaths trying to run and gun...

A whole clip of headshots in most cases.
 
PC patch 1.2.0 is out. Fixes the multiplayer bugs and the nano catalyst bug.
 
im kinda disappointed there are hardly any local servers with players on them :(
 
The Menu is stuffed - you need to go into server info to see whether there are players active on the server...
