I also noticed speed degradation for the last week or two, did not complain until simply put there was no connectivity for any wireless and wired devices in the house except netflix running on ps3.And the crap is back.
Had the same thing this morning. was advised to changed my DNS setting to Google's. Did that and had access to the internet again after it was down since yesterday 6pm.
However - the speed is very slow and dropping (normally on a 50/50 uncapped Fibre package). the NAT test on my PS4 still fails and team speak on PC is almost impossible. Lag on the PC is also so terrible it is better to not play at all.
Got CW to acknowledge that there's a broader issue but thats about it. What i dont understand is they know theres an issue but still makes you reboot the router and CPE etc etc etc. why not just tell us all what actually going on and keep us informed with hourly / bi-hourly updates.

I am cancelling today. I work from home and need access to my Linux and Oracle servers. One thing if I can't play an online game. Another thing altogether if I can't access my servers which impacts my paycheque.
Yeah, I'm pulling my hair our. Support "have just been told... right now" that it's a DDoS attack. Getting absolutely NO help from support. No response. Have no idea who or where to turn to anymore.
Spoke to someone today on the phone about a billing issue, mentioned I will be cancelling. Was told that I should do what makes me happy, and I am not being forced to use CW...
It was said in a nice way at least, bit of a friendly tone (not fake). Still, not a good thing for customer retention, especially seeing that switching over to a new network is a heavy investment. Retaining customers in this phase is crucial.
Last time I fall for the "recommend my ISP" spiel as well.
Yeah feeling like a bit of an idiot for recommending them so much. Guess it's best to just let people decide for themselves.
Nope, they started long before thatFunny how the DDoS issues only started once they went over to Evonet.
It's been an absolute disaster. They must swallow their pride and go back to IS. If not, they will not have a business in 3 month's time.
The packet loss I am getting is absolute horrible. I can't even to begin working on my DB for fear of corrupting my data.
Can any of you access Microsoft site? I need to download software but unable to access the site (error connection closed). Strange is that I can access office 365.
