Strange. Which router?

But Afrihost chat support said there is still some CW issues they need to sort out, I think they doing it now. Cos he's taking a while.
Is there a sync? And modulation set as?
I don't know the interface of ASUS router, I work mostly with TP-Link and Netgear...

4 Mbps would be ADSL, ADSL 2 or ADSL2+.
But if there are still upstream issues then this not the issue.

Me neither, But i like that it comes pre-configured with an AFRIHOST setting...
Crystalweb didn't make it to that list!
Myself is a control freak, the Afrihost peeps know me by name...
I won't bother. They will fade into obscurity.

Someone should go here and see if their offices are still there. I'm told that that address has been vacated?
So this will now be the interesting part. You are getting Afrihost to talk to OpenServe to then cancel that message and take over your line. If that message is cancelled then it should take the same amount of time as what I am going to experience, 3-5 days. Let's see who gets Internet connect back first.

Phoned Telkom again now, apparently my ADSL will be activated tomorrow morning between 8 and 10am. That's oddly specific. "The technicians are working on it now". Not sure what the technicians are supposed to be doing other than look at a line that's already plugged into a DSLAM but okay.
I'm really glad to see some people are getting connected. Luckily we've managed to help those that contacted us here and on other platforms.
