Firstly - wow, I feel bad for everyone affected here. This used to be a company I would gladly recommend to anyone interested.
When they couldn't get their youknowwhat together during the transition phase and subsequent DDoS issues, I made the good choice to switch.
Case in point - never let your ISP manage your line. The benefits do not outweigh this worst case scenario situation that has happened here. Telkom / Opensewer are bad, but they are the devil you know, and with enough preparation, easy to navigate around. Not having your line managed means being able to easily drop ISPs that dip into shenanigans. Learned this lesson with Syntech, Cybersmart, MWEB and Openweb (ugh). Evonet was just the latest in that list.
My advice, if it wasn't super obvious by now, gtfo while you still can. Best of luck in getting out of it with as little trouble to yourself as possible.
