How do you know if you are capped?

Can you get to any specific CW link? Do you get an email?

Can't login to portal on mobile for some reason. Login button does nothing.

I'm sure you would have seen it coming with the daily usage email.

The Trick is to be on a package that you don't run out of cap.

Well 24h is a long time between potentially being capped and being capped.

So it would be nice to get a confirmation when it actually happens.
 
Anyone having issues with NNTP / News?

DLs go full speed for a bit then just hit 0 kb/s with no server connections. Restarting SABNZBD fixes it for a few minutes, then same symptom.
 
Do Crystal offer an 8 meg line, and what would be the cost?

I assume he would have to take the 10 and just sync at 8...?

That wouldn't work. Unless they charge me for an 8 Meg line then okay

It will be unfair to pay for a 10 Meg service and to only use 8 Meg.

I am sure they could give him a 8 Meg account. I knew of a few people using CW got their packages tailored to their needs.

I'm really trying to cut costs. In theory, I see CW 20 Meg line is at R399 which is R100 less than Telkom. So thats a good deal. The problem is, that the 10 Meg line is R375 which really doesn't make sense to drop to half the speed I'm currently on, for R20 less

It's seemingly an SAB problem.

Upgrading to the latest Beta (2.7.12) seems to solve the problem.

Updated but the issue persists. I'm thinking it must be something else. Both my private NNTP and CW's have the same symptoms.
 
Hey guys. Is the Client Portal working yet?

Needed to know, how much shaping is done on the CW Standard Capped accounts?

Im looking at switching to CW but waiting for the Client Portal to get sorted out.

Home Premium Uncapped.

I just decided a few 100 bucks ain't gonna make a huge difference in my life, and doubled my speed. I'm over trying to save money via necessities like ADSL when I can cut elsewhere, like buying less junkfood.
