Sorry to sound like a dope.... what is a good ping for gaming to the EU... and is it independent of packet loss?
 
I'm with Vumatel and CW - 20/20 .... getting 19.83/17.20 - ping 1. during week is over 20u and over 18d
fail to understand why 100/100 is necessary. i'm not a games player thinking maybe that's the reason....?

Kids gaming, wife streaming, me streaming, one kid working online, WiFi devices, etc... fortunately I don't need 100 up, as Openserve's FTTH is at a max of 50 up.

I usually get around 170-180ms when everything is fine.

In my experience when there is packet loss it is usually due to congestion somewhere and when the network is congested your ping will be quite a bit higher and a lot more erratic.

Was about to post the same thing. Not getting a byte per second over 5MB/s with 6 active well-seeded torrents. Got 11 movies in total to burn for my grandma and this is a delay I could do without. Checked the Ubiquiti interface and no one else is doing anything on the network.
 
200ms on csgo tonight and <100kb\s on downloads. Seriously wtf. Streaming on youtube seems to be ok though.

Same my ms on local servers is bad internationally is not so bad bad, and downloads won't go above 80 Kb/s, but twitch and youtube works fine
 
Downloads seem fine now. Being limited during peak hours on a capped account points towards heavy shaping.
 
My issue was a bad connection from my house to the pole. Telkom tech came out on saturday and problem was solved.

The irritating part was that it took two weeks for it to get resolved.
 
My connection is currently slower than dial up. I am typing this on my personal hotspot which is MTN LTE. What is going on?!? Had no problems for months and the last 3 weeks has been the worst internet I have had since moving from Axxess.

They are currently upgrading their hardware, and performance will be affected.
 
Okay now I'm really getting annoyed. My premium home 4mb/s uncappped account every night around the same time is sooo slow. A quarter of my line speed. 100kb/s around 7-8pm from what I've seen so far. Does get better later in the night though.

My axxess capped account is flying. No idea whats been going on lately.
 
Does anyone know if the network problems are only on international traffic or local as well? I am getting some packet loss locally at the moment.

Yes. It's an established issue and many of us have complained. Please throw your hat in the ring and complain to CW as well.

I know but the web sites give no information the amount of limitations happen the information is not very accurate i want have more update on the web telling 2 weeks of having slow download every day
And the problem is going on for 2 month

Why do I need to read a post on Mybroadband when I should be emailed to notify me of this upgrade? I did check the previous posts and nothing was mentioned about the 28th of May as the last post was on the 27th. How should I smell on a 48 page thread that mention was made to this? Is myBB the company's official outlet for news on what is happening? No it's not. So please don't tell me to read when I didn't receive an email from them to notify me of this maintenance.

I had to reach out to them on their support chat. Doesn't seem like you did that. You just left a complaint on MyBB and somehow expected a resolution?
