Crystal Web DSL performance feedback thread Part 4...

So with Telkom announcing major changes, how does this affect the isps? Do we see changes or what?
 
It's become a routine by now.

Use CW till 19:00. Then switch to VoX. Then back to CW when I eventually go to sleep.

CW is absolutely horrid for gaming during peak time on OpenServe in the South.

..... downloads crawling, YT hardly working. I think this is my last month, over it now.

always, think I do at least 30mins of different tests before bugging anyone when it comes to my internet. Even with my shoddy telkom, CW is becoming the worst performer :(

Looks like IS is poked - other non-IS ISP's work fine, but struggling to get a third of my line speed on the premium uncapped. Thought there was more redundancy, but apparently not/not anymore.

Can anyone recall how the premium account differs over a standard account, aside from the prioritisation and the new server? Are the contention ratios different?

Contention ratios only kick in when there's a capacity issue. A certain gentleman assured me it was not the case.

can agree with that, WA also jumping on the shyte train with CW ..... sickens me when Mweb and AH perform better, meh
 
100mb account running 1/5 speed on CW. On VoX it's full speed.

Now it's either CW - which people assure me it is not - or IS. But now people say it's not IS either. Huh uh. Leaving both at the end of this month.

Logged too many incidents with live chat with zero feedback, zero call backs and zero improvements.

Very bad customer service CW. A far cry from what you once were.
 
C.W web page = no problems any where.

Unable to stream = Your internet is rubbish and slow, its a disgrace.
