Crystal Web DSL performance feedback thread Part 4...

So these CW problems are why the Xbone line test is reporting 100% packet loss, and can't join any servers, and yet some sites like YT are working perfectly? Why is some stuff working fine?

So there's nothing we can do but wait for them to sort it out (besides finding a different ISP)?

I've hardly had a problem with CW since we joined years ago.. But after reading the comments here I'm hesitant to report these problems to Telkom (even though 99.99% of the time it's them)..
 
Yup. Cannot even connect to Steam on CW now. Using alternate account.

What a damn joke of an ISP this is becoming.
 
I wonder what options one has in terms of not paying for services essentially not rendered.

Looks like I'll be on Vox by month end then.

Some UDP besides DNS seems to be working again. Maybe it's possible to play some games tonight after all.
 
Damn and my line is with CW. Only reason im holding on is that im still on freetime which is great. But im getting concerned

Before the switch over to Evonet, things were silky smooth. Now its just all over the place

+1. I even got blocked on their social media because I posted proof how much bs they make up

Sign up on your phone. Thats what I did since using cw connection I couldn't get vox page to load
 
Chatted to Support "General" and asking him for a real ETA, because every few days they say it'll be "a few days" - online gaming is pointless at this stage, and I pointed him to this thread. He didn't even bother to reply in the end and just left the chat.

Whelp, I just caved and bought 100GB of Fat Pipe from Vox, as it seems to be popular around here. A guy's gotta game and CW's EmptyNet doesn't seem up to snuff.

Sad really. I have been a loyal customer since the beginning, but my faith is quickly dissipating.

I mean, I'm all for pouring on the CW hate bandwagon, but I think in their position I would have left too. No point raging at a low-paid, obviously inept support staff.

Speak with your wallet and do like the rest of us and leave CrystalWeb.
 
Is it just me or do things seem better tonight? Managed to remote in overseas and do some work this evening with no issues. Haven't turned the xbox on yet...
