Crystal Web DSL performance feedback thread Part 4...

Um no... Cancel your existing voice line then. And restart the process, then cancel your dsl line with CW. You dont have to have 2 lines
I already cancelled my line with CW but they wont release it into the holding pool as they were meant to do at on the 31 October

That's the main reason i uncancelled my cancellation at the very last minute. My heart was telling me that my line would be lost in the middle of nowhere.
 
I have just spoken to someone at Telkom with a bit more brains. According to them with the fact that I have cancelled my line with CW on the 16th October my line will automatically reverted back to Telkom on the 16 November 30 day notice period. BUT i will be held liable for all unpaid fees on my line. So we will have to see what happens Friday. So a double edge sword may be in my future thank to CW

BS. Did that on 8 October and still nothing.
 
Like i said, just re apply with Telkom. You have nothing to lose. Even if you have 2 voice lines, you can just cancel the one again.

When the line was originally suspended and we queried Telkom, they said there was nothing outstanding on the line, so hopefully that included the ADSL portion. Then we would just owe Telkom for the month of November since there was no charge for the line by Crystal Web (of lies).

At least, that is what I am hoping.

Nope. Last month it took me 2 weeks to sort out and have telkom reactivate it. Beginning of this month same **** again but now telkom tell me everything is fine and nothing is suspended but I have no connection again.
 
Im still connected. Been connected for more than 2 weeks now. So im not sure what is happening
 
I will be meeting with very senior Openserve guys tomorrow. I will try and find out what is going on and what can be done. No promises but I will try my best.

Unless you are affiliated with CrystalWeb directly, I would honestly hope that none of the senior guys at Openserve dish out any info... it would be incredibly problematic if they did.

But then al least we would know where we stand. Instead of been like mushrooms (kept in dark and fed ****)

No questions on that front, but then Openserve would be opening themselves up to legal issues in terms of discussing confidential client information with a person who doesn't have authorisation to be getting that info.

Well its not like they are even trying to help us. For all we know they have sorted the issue with CW. But CW hasn't woken up yet to smell the coffee
 
Well my line has gone dead again. DSL link is up but can't establish a connection. Weirdly though this time my voice line is completely dead. No dial tone or voice telling me the line is suspended.

Well my line is still dead if that makes you feel any better.
