Is there a difference between Cybersmart's network in Cape Town and their network up in Joburg? I'm wondering because my streaming experience hasn't been great so far.
I was on live chat but was told that they are unable to pick up anything their side in regards to the twitch stream that I'm trying to watch (
http://www.twitch.tv/dota2ti). I was disconnected shortly after they asked if they could help me with anything else and I told them I'm going to test with my capped accounts quickly.
Now I know capped isn't exactly a fair comparison to uncapped, but unfortunately it's all I have to test with. Both my Afrihost accounts and FNB Connect accounts are able to handle this stream at High, and is barely ever lags on Source settings (maybe every 5 minutes there'll be a slight hiccup).
CW is definitely freezing every 1 to 2 minutes, sometimes more, and that's just on High. The only reason I am wondering about this is that others are able to Stream netflix/twitch/youtube at max settings and here I am struggling to get that.
Is there someone I can email directly about my account?
Updated: Oh yes, and it's weird that Youtube videos load and play fast and at good resolution (720p+ without buffer), but anything that's live, Twitch, or Youtube Livestreams, seem to struggle. The one site that I don't seem to have issues with is Azubu (thank god or I would miss all my League of Legends matches). Just checked this right now, Twitch streams freezing at Medium/High. Azubu streams running perfectly at High/Source.
