When it comes to an FUP please just be open and honest about it, if its dynamic then provide a page that shows the average use and give users an idea of how they are affecting the network. Leaving your users in the dark leaves them speculating and that is not a good thing.

Agreed. They get very upset if you ask basic questions online like "Which backbone is being used" or "Are you going to join ISPA".
Their director's comments had to be removed it was so full of expletives! PR? Now he's name-calling me around the forum :erm:

Did he call you an abrasive, disruptive blow-hard? Because that's kinda how you're coming across.

We will be transparent.

Remind me never to invite you to "Fight Club"

Please post proof.
Gladly.

Evidently you have an agenda to cause harm to Crystal Web, fortunately your efforts have largely been beneficial to us.

We've answered the backbone questions extensively and on numerous occasions, and the ISPA question has been asked and answered on numerous occasions.

Taranis, please note that I have personally offered you my email address for issues you may have, which you have not taken me up on. Please try to engage with some civility and honesty here as this is becoming more and more apparent that your issues with Crystal Web appear to be of a personal nature, and serve no purpose in any of our feedback threads.

Gladly.

Yup, that's about the most abusive, threatening, foul post I've seen on the internet all day!

MrBeep, is that you?

If not, you definitely have his reasoning and logical sense capabilities.

The worst ones from Crystal were removed by admin. Shall I look for screenshots or are they going to behave? ;-)

We will be transparent.

Then you will win the support of this forum for sure. Users just want to know what is happening, if you tell me I am a heavy user and your online system shows that I download 50% more than your average users then I will understand that I am a heavy user. MWEB throttled me after 90GB on my Premium Uncapped 1meg account, a day later I was on Afrihost. In this market users will change ISPs quicker than they are likely to change their underwear, so an ISP that is transparent will win the hearts of the users. We don't like BS and we can smell it from a mile away.

Agreed. We will be "Crystal Clear" about this topic as much as we possibly can, and Paul has been tasked with ensuring that our terms, conditions, AUP and other documents are easy to understand and are transparent.

You promised to rein in your "hotheaded" director - as you admit, yet here we are. You have also tried to defend his behaviour. I think you forget that PR is important. When a problem arises with a customer is he going to be just as civil? Asking questions is not a crime, and you can politely decline. Getting angry about it or looking for ulterior motives is not a good sign for those who are considering signing up.

Thank you for your advice, once again. It has been noted.

@Taranis - If they were a company who had officially launched then I would agree with you. But they haven't. They have approached a select few mybb users (not sure who else) and offered their services until they officially launch. Those select few were specifically asked not to divulge any info publically, as they (Crystal Web) were not ready to launch and make things public. You then went and made it public. Not cool. Especially considering they (crystal web) are more than willing to answer any questions via email to CUSTOMERS who have signed up. By the way, are you a client currently? Did they approach you and offer their services? Did they ask you to keep things quiet?
