Crystal Web slashes ADSL prices

The Vox, Web Africa, Afrihost, Axxess etc. threads are all filled with customers complaining about poor service. Except the Crystal Web thread. As someone who has used all of them at one point or another, Crystal Web is in a league of its own.

To say that price is the only differentiator is nothing but ignorance. Why aren't you with Openweb then?

It's a temporary account. My main account is a 425GB (500GB from next month) CW account. I can't wait until I can ditch my crappy AH account. Can't even stream Youtube most of the time.

A major outage in one part of the country does have the potential to negatively affect the entire network. Not a customer & don't know the details, just my 2c.

CW is marginally faster in speed tests and has lower latency. But speed tests don't mean a damn thing on Afrihost. Even when I'm getting close to 40Mbps I can still be unable to stream Youtube at 720p.

Yep. Afrihost also has it on their capped accounts now.

How am i doing that? I just said im happy with afrihost and im paying less.
I also said i sided with them in the past even though i wasnt a client.
If a salesperson or anyone from a certain store offends you on a personal level would you still go and support that store?
All of a sudden my logic and actions are dumb?

Oh crap I didn't notice that line in the email. Shaun even tuned Afrihost for the new uncapped time only being until the end of the year. Hopefully the 'trial' goes well and the midnight to 6pm sticks around.

Let me ask this then: Was what was said, which offended you so, actually related to their business or an opinion given on a different topic entirely that you decided to conflate with their business dealings?
