Cyberpunk 2077

If an action movie is your idea of a good story, then I take it your profile picture is not meant as satire. But then again, normies will be normies I guess.
He likened it to an action movie because story is periphery in an action movie... the focus of the movie is the action, the story only needs to be passable.

Take your meds. You’re obviously a sad panda.

Talking more like Xenogears, Chrono Cross, Xenosaga, Nier, and Persona. But I get it, your generation wants to play games that imitate reality rather than telling complex stories. I guess that's part of living with your parents until you're 40 and not having a decent job because you were born later and jobs are now a lot more scarce. You go play your CODs and Battlefields that you buy with your allowance.
Show us all on the doll where the bad man touched you.

I didn't even notice, but in regard to the save game issue there are dev notes in the CDPR thread,

So regarding the damaged save data issue/ 8MB limit, and the 1.06 fix, I'd like to clarify a bit:
  • For now we only addressed the limit, as it was the safest thing to do just before Christmas holiday. We'll continue working on improving saving in the new year.
  • Hitting the 8MB limit was actually not easy at all. E.g. in one of our tests 4355 weapons & 30000 kg load were needed in the inventory to bloat a normal save this way.
  • So how does it happen? Our investigation points to crafting large numbers of items (going well into tens of thousands). The modifier indicating if an item is crafted will keep being added to item type in the StatsSystem save node, gradually accumulating space in the save file. We are working on addressing this but still, hitting these numbers is not easy at all during a normal playthrough, gets easier though if one were to e.g. use a duplication glitch or a mod making crafting instant.
  • To my knowledge we had no reports of exactly this issue happening on consoles, and it would be risky to deploy a just in case fix before Christmas.
And having said that, Happy Holidays, all, see you next year!

What I don't get is how I have a 6MB save size, but others with way more hours than I do and with a lot more inventory have 4-5MB saves. The mind boggles.

Some have an ever expanding StatsSystem node and others have an ever expanding ItemDropStoreManager node. Going by the threads I examine and observe some are easily hitting those numbers without duplication exploits, but it is very hard to distinguish between truths and bullschitery in those threads.

I have posted my nodetree in another place where couch devs can pick it apart.

I am glad that CDPR will look into a proper solution in the new year, but to push a 'limited' remedy so soon does mean there was a high priority, regardless how hard it is to botch your save game or so CDPR claims that it is not easily done.

Anyway, I am only mentioning it here in case people are exploiting their game by duplicating items. Only the limit is addressed, save games can still break in case a node gets corrupted as it did with my stash and I didn't exploit anything up until the point I tried to replicate the save game issue and that was at my 92hrs mark. I still have my clean saves.

For something interesting, the current Any% speedrun is at 3h19m40s (with loads). Also, you can lose your virginity at the soonest 9m54s into the game or so says the current record holder.

I suppose it's different for everyone. I just find it a bit odd when people expect a game to play out like real life. I mean you can shoot a guy in the head 5 times and he survives, but traffic lights break immersion. Try not to take it too seriously and just have fun...
Maybe my style is the way I have fun, ey

Chip on Japanese shoulder detected. Also by your lack of sarcasm, irony and sense of humour (and choice of games) I suspect you are younger than I am. If you enjoy Japanese themed narratives obviously this Western-themed game isn't gonna float your boat. Nothing wrong with that. Except in your head where having fun is some kind of competition. That's sad.

Got this from user dangwoot on cs.rin.ru and there's another ini file there with even higher fps gains but some visual loss.
CS.RIN.RU - Steam Underground Community • View topic - Cyberpunk 2077

I did not do a before & after fps test but from memory it looks like I gained 12+ fps and maybe more in not so busy areas, I'm pretty impressed so far but will test more tomorrow & compare visuals.

I've been cheating a bit with WeMod.
I'm not in the mood for major gunslinging and checking health etc.

I'll try your ini file ponder. My hardware is older and doesn't run well on normal crowd density.

Thanks ponder. There's a major improvement.
My visuals are better and there's definitely an increase in performance.
The game seems to load faster as well.

I haven't noticed faster loading but fps performance has seen a big improvement.
