Cyberpunk 2077

Prove it yourself
CDPR is being sued by their investors
CDPR is not in the habit of early releases... If you imagine there weren't other pressures, including the horrendous bleating from "gamers", I have a nice bridge I can sell you.

Was it too early? Sure.

Should we pay *any* attention to the console lamers who expect ancient hardware to function as if it were current? No fricken way in hell.

The CDPR koolaid must be good.

Your post sounds like the typical customer service helpline. Hello, we are not in the habit of failing our customers how could we have possibly failed you? CDPR, in fact, failed many, irrespective of your opinion.

Who are we, the consumer, or you?

Cyberpunk 2077 PS4/XO Performance is “Surprisingly Good” Given the Game’s Huge World, CDPR Says

The CEO added that Cyberpunk 2077 is performing great on all of the platforms, base PS4 and Xbox One included.

“So, we believe that the game is performing great on every platform. Of course, accordingly to platform capabilities, but not every platform should be great.”

As expected, performance on these base consoles is a bit lower, but still very good.

“Of course, a bit lower than on pros, but surprisingly good, I would say for such a huge world. So, bit lower, but very good. That's the answer.”

It is only your view which is lame.

You have me mistaken:
I couldn't give a fk what you build as it does not pertain to me.
You automatically assume I'm against this game and company.
So in short. Your butthurt is your own.

Let the young pups play; they can't see (or think) further than "it runs kak on consoles" + "it runs good on pc" ==== must be great title.

Are we still discussing why PCs are better than consoles and console plebs shouldn’t be complaining about new games not running on machines that were made before grade 1 students were born?

Then why did CDPR produce the game for Xbox One and PS4, and sell it for that market inclusively? Some real Grade R reasoning there.

Trying to cater to the masses.

I’m sure they intended for it to work correctly when they set out, but seems they made something better instead.

A few 4k screenshots from my lame console which doesn't even have the next gen patch yet.

I'm sure it's no match for the awesome 1080p that many here are running though...

Are the streets always empty with not traffic or people?
Grief, no.

I may have to tone it down.. it's actually pretty damned over-crowded in places ...

To be fair, one of the things bugging me about the game: In a city this size, you *should* be drowning in a deluge of sleeves....

Nope. You can change crowd density on PC. Unsure on console.

@ Mike. I don't even have an HD monitor, let alone 4K :p
It is one thing that always irritate me about open world games. Such a massive world but nothing in it. Or people and cars will just randomly appear or disappear out of nowhere.

I wish there was an open world designed as well as some of the levels in Hitman 2.

Most of the clips I saw on BuggyPunk is a real let down to me in terms of population and vehicles.

The crowd density for BuggyPunk seems to be more a solution implemented to run a badly optimised game. =/

Please post some over crowded places screenshots!
Lots of people, lots of cars.

Edit:
This looks nice.

Then they should have never catered to the masses, and its previous generation console support should have been cut prior to any pre-order. It is not that they tried, they did, and they made sales (they entered a sales agreement). Their intention was to make money and to remedy the issue at a later date without informing the customer and their investors.
