Cyberpunk 2077

You think this has to do with preording only? This is your fail.

It is not only preordring, but buying and keeping on buying. Not only a state of a game, but the state of the company and how they are selling themselves.
Forgive me if I'm a little dim, but I'm not following? DRM-free games, Witcher series, extras in the retail box - these are realities with CDPR. The good guy image was there because they were the good guys?

So I was bored today and played around in the game a bit.
Went to get Dexter's gun which I never did last time.

So I got the gun and I now have 28000 pistol bullets.
Reload
Quit game, start again.

Nope. I have 28000 bullets now which randomly increases by a few hundred. (Started with 23000, went to 28000 in 10 minutes)

Is it supposed to be like that or is this a massively fortunate bug?

That must be a bug, ammo is hard limited in the game. You can't even craft more than you are allowed to have even though it consumes crafting material. Perfectly balanced.

I have found out that Dexter's gun uses eddies

But I have less that 10 000

Also increases every time I exit and re-enter the game

I had a Google after your post because I couldn't remember the specific gun as I was like, Dexter what? I checked it now, never used it.

Cyberpunk 2077's Launch and Ongoing Fixes Investigated By Consumer Protection Agency

UOKiK is looking into Cyberpunk's launch, refunds, and its ongoing development.

Cyberpunk 2077's ongoing development, and CD Projekt Red's approach to refunds, are being investigated and monitored by Poland's consumer protection agency, which has the power to fine the company up to 10% of its yearly income.

Dziennik Gazeta Prawna reports that UOKiK, Poland's Office of Competition and Consumer Protection is looking into "confusion" around the game's launch, and has asked CD Projekt Red for an explanation into what occurred.

A UOKiK spokesperson (translated by IGN Poland) explained: "We are asking the company for explanation regarding problems with the game and actions taken by them. We will check how the developer is working on patches or solving issues preventing playing on various consoles, but also what steps [the company] is planning to take regarding people [who requested refunds] and are not happy with their purchase because they can't play the game on owned hardware, despite assurances by the producer."

UOKiK will await CD Projekt's explanation, and then decide on next steps. Those next steps could be significant. UOKiK could choose to fine the company up to 10% of its income for the last financial year. Per the report, UOKiK could alternatively ask the developer to issue "digital bonuses" to those who bought the game for last-gen consoles. How the latter could be organised, or how that would affect players outside of Poland, is yet to be seen.

Perhaps most worryingly for CD Projekt, the report adds that the refund policy organised in the aftermath of launch could still be deemed unsatisfactory, leading to those measures.

IGN contacted CD Projekt Red about the report, which refused to comment.

I believe this is a bit exaggerated. Due to questions which have arisen this is a standard process by their 'Ombud'. A valid explanation by CDPR would ease this inquiry.

As always, don't promise what you cannot sell. CDPR had two options, 1) postpone the Xbox One/PS4 release or 2) cancel the Xbox One/PS4 release. Now they are in a position they need to provide a remedy, and this remedy will be at QoL improvements expense. More pressure on the production/development team.

Nonetheless, inquiries like these may result in pro consumer remedies. CDPR have been quiet, the last time they said anything to remedy the game was when they announced patch 1.06 and since then they have dismissed the rumour that cut content will be brought back into the game. Who knows whether patch #1 will even drop this month, albeit it was promised as such in a board notice?

Anyway, their lead quest designer posted,

which is odd as the quests have already been mined, maybe more Easter eggs or other world occurrences? In my game there was a point where some locations had protests, but let's not go into that.

Is it called "Plan B" ?
Yes

It's basically the gold version of Yorinobu's gun, with higher DPS, but rather just upgrade Yorinobu's gun.
Even with the eddie glitch I had, the Plan B is not very good. It seems to take a lot more hits to down an enemy and doesn't come close to a standard revolver.

Also haven't played in about 2 weeks. I enjoy the game when it doesn't crash but I'm through with the main arcs and the side quests don't keep me all that engaged or motivated. It's a pity the main story was so short. I've played under 60 hours and I think this would have been way way more if there was a bit more to the main arc and some more encouragement to let loose and give you a reason to wander around doing side stuff.

Huh. I cannot actually recall having a single crash, it's been really solid for me. I've had plenty of weird in game bugs but nothing that crashed the game.

Game crashes are widely reported on both consoles (new and last-gen) as well as on PC. You are a lucky individual, neither did I experience any game crashes, but many have and these issues should be addressed rather than being ignored.

What is the latest update , have most bugs been patched. I want to play the game but waiting for the bug fixes

Patch #1 (1.07?) is scheduled to be released this month, with Patch #2 coming February 2021. You have the option to continue play now, wait until patch #1 or patch #2, anyway, CP2077 should be a more complete title once patch #2 drops.

I started playing on patch 1.04, and I am certain that some things broke as the patches rolled out, some modders believe it may be data node corruption within the save games, but I won't know. I didn't cheat, but there is an indication that cheating is breaking games, especially with item duplication exploits. As I previously said, there is a reason why CP2077 disabled the debugger in the interim and why the current save game remedy is only an interim solution.

I will replay the game once new game mode+ is dropped.

You can complete the game in its current state or so many already have.

Are you on PC? If so it probably comes down to hardware but I don't know. I think the last batch of 460.x drivers from Nvidia had alot to do with the poor performance on some cards. I really dont know.

All I'll say is I'm seriously looking forward to some patches and hopefully decent story DLC.
