Cyberpunk 2077

Patch notes:

Too much to post, but it is all good.

For anyone wanting to buy the game, well, wait for it to be on special. There is a Steam sale coming next week celebrating new game releases.

Anyhow, happy playing chooms.

Shame, I see some members on the CDPR forums are asking about NG+ but their questions goes unanswered. Anyhow, apparently there are some bugs, or old bugs, so I guess a couple of hot patches are to be expected.

Other issues:

Version 1.5 does not like Nahimic, if it is used by your hardware for audio or whatnot, then you have to disable it for the game to run. The game gives literally flat lines, that is the prompt you get.

A load of people have graphical glitches with AMD driver 22.2.1.

There is also a conflict with some configs, if you have an issue with launching the game, delete the config files in these folders:

C:\*Cyberpunk 2077 install folder*\r6\config\settings
C:\*Cyberpunk 2077 install folder*\r6\config\settings\platform\pc
C:\Users\*your username*\AppData\Local\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077

Others with Windows 11 get "Unhandled exception" errors with AV enabled, but they don't elaborate which AV is used....

There isn't much notes on graphics in the patch notes.
At 1080p mostly high settings I had terrible texture pop in. So much so that while driving the cars all look like they are rendered at 360p and since I go past them so fast they never render properly.
Looked gross. And the problem only started after patch 1.3

Hoping that is fixed, because I would like to try the new patch, but if the pop in is still a thing the game can get fecked.

For anyone with patch 1.5 issues, CDPR has a thread,

To take note:

We are also looking into the possibility of introducing the following requests, but at the moment we don't have any details to share:
  • PS4/PS5 Trophies Transfer
  • Raising FPS cap on Xbox Series S

The CDPR community is really up in arms with NG+, quite the division going on there... CDPR should answer those who want it whether they are getting it or not.

'Next Gen Patch'

This is within the first 10 minutes of the bloody game. Been a bug since LAUNCH
Seriously, at this point, CDPR can go feck themselves.

Posted above screenshot on the Cyberpunk steam forums, it got removed and I got a warning for being 'disrespectful'
Lol, yeah, their moderators lock down hard on criticism. They will tell you to post it in the technical discussions board or send it to some email where it doesn't get community attention. Been like this since the second patch.

The community is very much divided at this time because CDPR is not willing to respond to NG+ requests. A topic which is also culled by the moderators, but not when against...

Cyberpunk 2077's 1.5 patch nerfed the hell out of crits without telling you

The patch notes didn't document some major changes to crit damage and crit chance.

Better to watch the video,

This kinda explains why NG+ mode is being ignored because attribute points can't be changed, hence you will be stuck with limited build options in a NG+. Not too many people may like this.... well, there is always mods.

Some special weapons like skippy got a nerf as well.

CDPR should just scratch this game as failure and move on. Maybe focus on The Witcher 4 or something other than Cyberpunk. Been over a year and the bugs is even worse than before.
No I like this game. They just need to fix the bugs and add more content. If they can't sort out these bugs, why would anyone think they'd get it right with TW4?
