Cyberpunk 2077

Have you guys played this game recently? It's fantastic and rock solid in my experience.
Yeah, but its still not what was sold to us, and probably never will be. But the expansion may somewhat reach what was expected.

I've been playing it a lot recently and am struggling to think of any bugs I encountered. The only slight one was the bike occasionally having a mind of it's own when I called it. Watched it drive past me off into the distance, so I called my other bike instead

Is there something specific you feel is missing?
I would be hard-pressed to remember each and every item - but the biggest three on my list were -

Third person cutscenes

Parkour (wall-running, not just jumping really far)

Mono-wire and alternative upgrades actually have a secondary function - can't remember all of them, but as
an example - the Mono-Wire actually had a reason to be used over every other possible upgrade, and that reason was that you would have been able to use it to jack directly into an enemy at range to hack faster and get more access to someone's brain easier.

All the above was in the E3 2019 gameplay that they showed, but were straight up not included in the game - they straight up fukin lied essentially.

Yeah that doesn't really bother me. The campaign was epic from launch. The bugs being fixed was the main thing. The next main thing is it needs endgame content. I'll be picking up the expansion...

The expansion changes the game so much I think you need an i7 minimum to play it.

Looking forward to this.

But then I think of all the mods that's going to break... Not exactly in the mood to start from scratch again.

I hear CPR is moving to unreal 5 engine; so post 1st dlc for cp2077 it's dead for all known reasons? At least there is modders..

I played it around Nov-Dec last year.

It had some way to go and wouldn't be considered a classic or must play imo.

Enjoyed the story but the game play was not great for me and I encountered a fair bit of hilarious bugs.

It was still broken back then. I also platted it back then and refunded it.

The game is fine now.

Update 2.0 drops tomorrow:

Attention players! The upcoming Cyberpunk Game. Update 2.0 will bring exciting changes to the game, including the updated system requirements. We'd like to remind you that the new update of the game will only support SSDs. Don't forget to check if your PC meets the new requirements! If you're using mods, we recommend uninstalling them before Update 2.0. Due to the sheer amount of changes, they might cause more issues than usual. Wait until the modding community updates them to the new version of the game.

For those who want to buy the game now or revisit it. I am not going into the sneak peeks made months ago already or the reviews made in advance this past week.

I can't wait to play Phantom Liberty on the 26th. I guess I will be replaying the game next week.

This is the old PC recommendation:

I am only intrigued by how CDPR managed to maintain the same game size? Perhaps they improved their compression.
