Cyberpunk 2077 goes gold, game world map leaks


If you were worried about Cyberpunk 2077 being delayed again, then you can now put those worries to rest. Today, CD Projekt Red announced that Cyberpunk 2077 has officially gone gold, meaning the game is complete and ready for production. Elsewhere, the full game map has also hit the web.

In game development, going gold is a huge milestone. At this point, CD Projekt Red will have a Master Disc that can be sent to base all other physical copies off of. When a game goes gold, physical copies are produced and release plans are locked in.

Probably won't even get it at launch and wait for sale.

That's why I only really started looking in CP2077 the past month, but how long has it been ? 4 - 5 years ? that is indeed a long time to wait for just 1 game :)
 
These days I tend to wait for the version of the game that will come with all the updates and DLC. For games like this you're almost guaranteed to get a better version of the game in 6 to 12 months time for cheaper.

Haha, try 13 years for Beyond Good & Evil 2.

A reimagined version of the 930-generation Porsche 911 Turbo has been revealed ahead of a starring role in upcoming game Cyberpunk 2077.

The iconic 1977 sports car was chosen by game developers CD Project to be the only production car to feature in the science-fiction adventure and was designed with input from Porsche.

The digital version has been modified to run on CHOOH2, a fictional synthetic fuel that has replaced fossil fuels. The car features sci-fi elements such as lidar and sonar sensors, digital mirrors and a screen-heavy digital dashboard, along with a barcode registration plate on the roof.

Despite the futuristic upgrades, the original 911's proportions have been largely maintained.
