Cyberpunk 2077

An installation window opened...

Meh, neither my GOG and Steam copy is installable. I wouldn't preload, it isn't a race and I know that there will be a day 1 patch, and likely even a day 2 patch, and an obvious week 1 patch, then no patching at all with people bitching about when the last updated was made yada yada... and then the DLC comes out, patch, and then the next DLC, patch, and then the paid DLC announced with a season pass, patch, patch and patch, and then the big GOTY update.

I am talking about PC. Looking at the Witcher 3 now, it had a one-year maintenance cycle.

Well I did say that only the install window opened

Sadly: open gog - click install from cyberpunk 2077 - install window opens - install window closes.

Seeing as my PS5 order is likely not to be filled by the time this is out I think I'll have to buy it on PC. GOG or Steam is the question?

I heard the GOG version has digital goodies, steam nothing.

That and personal preference is really the decider if you want to call it that :)

I bought it on Loot so I actually don't know which platform it is going to be available on. Nothing in GOG or Steam as far as my purchases go.

Is it a digital download ? If so then most likely from GOG as they work in partnership with CDPR

Yea Digital Download

When they send / sent the code to you, you will get the link to which platform provider, either or as JamesBoy said they basically the same, Steam is what I prefer but some like GOG :)

What I was trying to say is CDPR and GOG are the same company so ...

Preordered the Xbox One version from MS store.

There's an 'Install on my devices' link on the Cyberpunk Xbox game page, I tried it but it doesn't look like it's available for pre-install yet.

It's going to be a long two weeks.

Have you fellas decided what life paths you're choosing? Street Kid, Nomad or Corpo?

Also, The Witcher 3 is continuing to make truckloads of money.

CD Projekt released its third quarter consolidated financial results today, and there are two main points to take note of. One, The Witcher is still killing it: The company earned $28 million in revenues on the quarter, "mostly generated by sales of games from The Witcher universe," CFO Piotr Nielubowicz said. And two (and more important), Cyberpunk 2077 is still scheduled to arrive on December 10.

PC Gamer should do their homework, it isn't The Witcher 3 which is making the money it is GWENT.
