I downloaded through GOG (PC Only I guess). It downloaded the 60GB game and let me roll, didn't want to do any updates. You know, I didn't quite realise that I could get the PS4 version now, and then get a free upgrade to the PS5 version when it eventually comes out. So just purchased it from PSN a couple of minutes ago. Timing it to see how long it takes to download 101GB's.

Initial on PC is 55Gb, the pre-day patch is another 55Gb patch lol.....I see most people talk about a 50-60 GB download. Not quite sure why PS4 is 101GB.
Started the game now and my graphics auto detected as 1080p ultra, going to check my FPS now.

Check your CPU as well. Seems to be quite intensive on that too.
You wouldn't buy a car without test driving it or buying a house without going inside it...would you?
that hot in hell today, or just the aircon off/broken/stolen/expropriated
I'll wait to play the game until after the first main DLC comes out. Usually any major bugs/glitches will be ironed out by then.
Given the obvious bugs experienced by reviewers (floating guns, etc.), there's probably a lot more underlying buggy stuff. Not something that a day 1 patch will fix. Obvious/noticeable bugs shouldn't be in the reviewers version after 6 years of development.
I also had no patch on Steam.
Total download was 57.3GB
Checked this morning before heading out and I could run it.
Not sure what happened to the patch.
What was strange is that the 57.3 was done downloading long before launch, but I stayed up to see how big the patch will be.There was a odd 200mb patch.
