I was asking if you seeded your torrent after downloading. It was an attempt at trolling.I didnt understand your question now I'm selfish... OK then.

Forgive me I have no Cyberpunk and live a life of boredom.
No, when they realised how much issues they were having with the old consoles, they should have scrapped it and shifted focus to the new generation.I guess ol' Jim Sterling was right, the game should have been postponed until further notice. So many people burned by fanbois the past few months only to intensify as of launch date.
No, when they realised how much issues they were having with the old consoles, they should have scrapped it and shifted focus to the new generation.
All this effort they've wasted trying to make it work on old hardware could have been used to get the new generation versions ready by the time they launched.
If Sony and Microsoft didn't insist that all games on previous gen needed to work on both Pro/1X and base versions, they could have launched it with Pro/1X being the minimum requirement.
But as it stands it should never have launched on previous gen. Nobody on the base consoles can honestly say they're happy with it, so the argument of catering to the majority failed anyway...
If that's the case they should have released it then already, and released a remaster for next gen. Like everyone else has been doing for years. Instead of arsing about and dealing with the backlash they're sitting with now.Having had a look at some gameplay footage and news from back in 2018 what seems to have happened is they were pretty close to a finished product at that point already, but with the next gen consoles on the horizon a decision was made (or made for them) to next-gen-ify the game. This is clear from the significant update to visual fidelity between gameplay footage from then and now.
What I suspect is that instead of spending the last 2 years on wrapping up, tweaking and polishing (probably wouldn't have taken them that long) they were stuck instead updating their entire game/engine to meet the expectations of what could be considered next-gen.
In all likelihood the path they were on in 2018 the game in question would have functioned just fine on previous gen consoles, but instead they tried to retrofit their newer "next gen" spec into the older generation (as opposed to visa-versa) as they had already promised that it would be out on, then, current-gen consoles.
Even more so when you are a (relatively) small team trying to cover multiple platforms.8 years is a ridiculous amount of time in gaming, and more often than not when you sit on it, it backfires...
I see even mvg is chiming in
Maybe cdpr wanted to be the next funny man: You know the actual reason we play elder scrolls is for the meta entertainment played out by its bugs. It's not just consoles. PC is also buggy. I was watching a streamer play the other day (he started late on the second day so he had all the patches up to then).
Here's the footage of that stream at the timestamp he enters the first min-town (in first few minutes of the game). The game looks amazing but there were so many bugs in just a few minutes. So I don't really believe PC players when they say they are not experiencing many bugs. Either they are very lucky to not have bugs or they are not interacting with the environment at all.
Watch for about 4 minutes till he leaves the town. Good for a laugh too:
