Cyberpunk 2077

Nvidia control panel yes.
Since you've never checked before, physics is 100% set to CPU currently.

You can set it to whatever you like but it's gonna use the cpu.

In nvidia control panel look at the top menu bar, click on 3DSettings, select Show PhysX Visual Indicator and start your game.

What does yours say onscreen?

That I will only be able to check tonight

I also got Guinevere,

the car I use most cost nothing more than $82,000... also, it seems the devs only worked on the Badlands vehicles as they are superior in each and every way.

I did some quick reading.
There seems to be two different types of physx

There is the physx system used by the engine and then there are physx effects than can be toggled.
Not sure which is displayed.

It also seems that when physics is changed to GPU it only switches over when the CPU is not enough to handle the physics.

Either way, cannot hurt to have it set to GPU

GOG maybe, Steam has a 2 hour play policy unfortunately

MS store and PS store simply issuing refunds no questions asked ... shame I feel sorry for the game devs, imho way too many systems for the game to be released on and " maybe not enough " manpower for the work load.

Yeah, I'm not refunding. Perhaps if I had put in around 3 hours and decided it wasn't worth continuing I could justify it, but with 30+ it would feel like stealing.

I guess ol' Jim Sterling was right, the game should have been postponed until further notice. So many people burned by fanbois the past few months only to intensify as of launch date.

I highlighted the issue I have with the missions and got blasted by, "your PC is a potato", comments... You know, I would have thought that fanbois would have wished for their game to be functional.

I've got about 60mins in. However I don't want to reward release and behavior patterns like this.

If this was any other dev house how much slack would you give them and based on what?

At this point I'd rather get a refund and reinvest that money into something else (working, identifying itself as something and less mishmash of boardrooms) like rdr2

I will keep the game, just seeing if there is any special treatment here. They ****ed up, we can all agree. But I'll stick with them, see what happens. Can only go up from here.

Lies¡, I'll raise you one 3770k and 1070gtx.

Totally understandable. You're still in what could be considered a "trial" period ;)

I'm torn between wanting to play now but also waiting for the patch they say is coming this week.

They will eventually come right and sort out the mess :) no rush, maybe they should take their time " another 8 yaars " muha :)
