Cybershot DSC-W320 problem

Hi guys.

I won a Sony Cybershot w320 digital camera and last night i noticed purple lines or a haze of purple in the LCD display, when aiming the camera at light.

The lines do not appear in the photo but its does with the recorded movie.

I did research this phenomena and apparently this is normal.

Did anybody else experience this and will this eventually affect my photos being a defective CCD?

I won it so i have no sort of repair guarantee anyways.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I think this is normal ... it appears on my Sony HX5 as well ...

funny thing is that it did not appear on my Panasonic TZ7....
